Teplitzky Management Group, a sports management team that helps college athletes market themselves through name, image, and likeness while using university branding, has named Basepath its official service provider.
Basepath, an operations software company, will assist TMG Official by streamlining their athletes’ NIL opportunities while facilitating deals and ensuring prompt compensation. Basepath is the official service provider of countless collectives across the country, including The Grove Collective (Ole Miss), 502 Circle (Louisville), and Happy Valley United (Penn St.), among others.
TMG Official offers an array of services to its athletes, including assistance with NIL opportunities, interview training, engagement opportunities, NIL education, and brand building.
“Through Basepath, we will be able to efficiently organize student athletes’ activities, which will help streamline NIL as a whole,” TMG Founder and Chief Executive Officer Jake Teplitzky said. “Basepath and TMG share a commitment to ensuring student-athletes are well-prepared for their futures by equipping them with the tools they need to help them navigate the evolving landscape of collegiate athletics.”
TMG Official allows prospective sponsors to select a pricing tier and receive promotional activities from a college athlete while in team uniform, at their school’s athletic facilities, and on campus, as long as they include the TMG Official watermark, signifying approval from both the university and TMG.
“We are excited to join forces with TMG to provide athletes with the resources they need to succeed on and off the field,” said Thomas Thomas Jr., the Co-Founder and CEO of Basepath. “TMG’s dedication to guiding athletes towards sustainable success resonates with our vision of fostering informed and empowered athletes in the NIL era.”
