Justified Athletic Trust.

What started off as an idea for a regulatory concept, turned into something much greater.

One of TMG’s first creations, a Justified Athletic Trust (JAT), a legal document, which would provide student-athletes with the opportunity to seek endorsement and financial compensation without committing any NCAA violations.

All earned revenue and compensation would be directed into the JAT, which would then be invested. The student-athlete would receive the distribution of the JAT funds in three different ways; declaration of draft entry, scheduled distribution, or completion of their degree.

TMG was trying to stay ahead of the curve and implement guardrails for, what is now known as, Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).

The concept of the JAT was initially created as a means or methodology to retain and maintain the then landscape of collegiate athletics in 2019-20. This was pre-NIL, pre-conference realignment, pre-collective, and pre-House v. NCAA.

Since then, that small idea of a JAT, a vehicle that would allow for NCAA activity to continue as scheduled, has transformed into what we now know as TMG.

The JAT was TMG’s first attempt at regulating, what is now known as the Wild West (NIL), but it most certainly will not be our last.

TMG stands for transparency, legitimacy, authenticity, and regulation. Much has changed with the industry, but TMG remains steadfast in our mission. Built by innovation, designed to sustain.

Others like to play games, we like to manage them.

TMG, Manage The Game.
